Ion exchange

A process by which undesirable ions in water are exchanged for more beneficial ones. Resins are used to help this process in softener systems. The use of either Anion or Cation resins help with different processes or purposes and materials found in the water.

KDF

A metallic material made of copper and zinc that and used in water filtration. The common KDF materials are KDF 55 and KDF 85. The numbers represent the percentage of the mix of copper and zinc.
